Sad to report the passing due of TFO Randy Hecht, Riverside DO, LAFD, on November 9, 2024, due to heart related issues. Randy was with the Riverside CA PD and assigned to Gp 1, RDO from approximately 2000 to 2010. I was the GS in Gp 1 from 2001 to 2004. Randy was a great asset to the group, an excellent investigator and a major contributor to the successes of the group and the RDO. Randy was also a great guy in general. He will be missed by his former colleagues, friends and family.
