Report on Angela DeSalvo Johnson’s medical condition.
Earlier today, I spoke to Angela and learned that she had a fall in January that resulted in a brain bleed, which was quickly operated on. She was in a coma for about a week. She also informed me that she had a stroke.
Angela is currently in an assisted living facility and is confined to a wheelchair. She said that the prognosis is that she will not be able to walk again.
She was able to stay on the phone as long as she could, but she tires easily.
She wanted me to share this information with all her friends and former colleagues.
Her younger sister, who lives in Bermuda, rotates back and forth.
